XiaoBai is worth a lot $$ hor...

I swear I'll never have 2 pets at any one time anymore. It's kinda stressed, coz I always have to worry for them 2. Then it was so suay at that time too, coz XiaoBai had all sorts of illnesses coming to her. Then HamHam didn't have fur on his "that part", so I also keep worrying whether is it unhealthy, coz my previous HamHam(s) did not have this problem. Then the worst fear came, but I think it's almost over now.

I was opening the videos of XiaoBai to find this particular video that I wanna post. Then I opened another video and I totally got a shock. I was really shocked okaes... Anyway, it was filmed when XiaoBai did not have any hair on her nose and body. It was ugly! I showed my parents and they agreed that XiaoBai is really very unglam at that time. But but but, I'm not going to post it here, coz I need to maintain my XiaoBai's silky white hair image. Wahahaha...

So Good of My Dad

My dad drove me to school and home today, coz he went out with my mum today. It's like so rare lor. Then we went to have fish steamboat for dinner. It's been so long since we've ate out on weekdays.

我好像变坚强了。是因为它只陪我三个多月吗？还是因为我早已料到我会很快地又经历此事？

它是朋友送的生日礼物，但却没等到我下一次的生日。当然，也没等到它自己的。

Manager called me just now to ask if I can work today. Then I was like very reluctant, coz I've just bathed, and preparing for dinner.

M: Can you work later?
Me: Erm... I've just reached home leh.
M: But we are really short of people.
Me: Eh... I have school tomorrow, then I need to do homework.
M: I let you off earlier can? 9pm can go...
Me: But I'm now at home leh.
M: Where you live?
Me: ******.
M: Then you come at 7 plus can?
Me: Erm... really cannot lah.

Mango Sorbet Freeze

Went out before school on Monday, with the intention of doing some shopping too... But it seems that my money wants to stay with me. So I was actually done with what I intended to do long before my estimated time.

So I went to HD to wait for time to pass. Then I ordered Mango Sorbet Freeze. I was actually deciding between lemon and mango, coz I seriously like the lemon sorbet. But ordered mango in the end lahs, coz manager told me so. Haha. Anyway, didn't say much lah, coz they were short-handed.

我不是F4

I was listening to FM93.3's 醉新龙虎榜 just now. And I heard ZaiZai's new song - 我不是F4. I got those sudden happiness from listening to the song. It's the same kind of feeling that I got when I first watched 流星花园, even after repeated views. I know some of you may think I'm exaggerating things up. Haiya... you won't understand, coz I'm sure your choice of idols changed from year to year. F4 is the first ever boy band idol that I liked. And I know some people may be jeering at me, for still liking F4, who 出道 many years ago. Yes, and I'm gonna say... I dun give a damn. I like them for who they are. I used to ask myself if I'll still like ZaiZai after he cut his hair short. That was before he actually cut. But I'm proud to say that I still like him. Coz he is still so 帅. Haha.

I'll always support F4! It'll never change.

Cold Lift

A few days ago, my block's lift did not have any air-cooler, or whatever you call that machine which gives out (fresh?) air. It was so stuffy inside. I think someone weak in the heart could have easily fainted in the lift, due to lack of air. The condition could have been worse if there's an odour in the lift, which is so common. Some people are worse, they are so blind that they can't see the "No Smoking" sign.

Anyway, I dun want to continue this smoking topic, coz I'm sure that I can blabber on for hours...

What I want to say is that the air cooler (or whatever machine you may call it) is repaired. But to me, it is more than just repair. I think they "upgraded" it too. I'm sure it's on at full blast, where I'm practically shivering in the lift. For seventeen years, that's the first time I shivered in the lift, not to say those with real air-con. I dun think it's bad though. I hope they can just continue blasting... It's not as though I'll freeze in the lift even if I'm going to the highest floor. =p

No Way

Went for piano lesson just now... like after 3 weeks of no lesson.

My piano teacher looked at the calendar for quite a while, looking at my piano pieces at the same time also. Then she told me something. She wants me to perform my exam piece in front of many students. I rejected immediately. But she kept asking me to perform. No no no. Just for your information lah, I have very strong stands. Very strong, I mean. Then she was like telling me to perform, so that I can get used to it when I'm having my exam. Exam is at most 2 examiners only lor. And I had so many piano exams before. Got used to it le.

So she wants me to get my 4 contrary scales right and perfect in the next lesson. I must memorise by heart before next lesson, if not she'll want me to perform. Tsk.

小鬼

I was asked to write a blog entry about Vanessa's 小鬼, coz it was damn boring during econs tutorial. But it's difficult to write a story based on 1 picture. So the main picture was about Vanessa 养小鬼. Definitely not the person 小鬼 黄鸿升. It's supposed to be a foetus ghost. Please dun be like someone... It's supposed to be a bad thing, not good. Oops.

A Misunderstanding

I went to a pet shop to buy XiaoBai's food just now. Then I saw an animal - around the size of the smallest Chihuahua. I remembered when the last time I went there, it was a cage for guinea pigs. I went to take a closer look, especially at the price tags. It was stated - Long Coated Guinea Pig. I was totally shocked can... I dun want my XiaoBai to grow so big, with such ugly and ultimate messy coat.

I then asked the person and she told me it was a rabbit.

Hyperactive BaiBai

XiaoBai is getting cuter and more active nowadays, after the diarrhea and mites thinggy. Her hair is growing back! And I think she's gonna be the messy-haired XiaoBai that I adore so much.

100% of her daily food and water comes from the kitchen. So I've sort of trained her (unknowingly) to whistle every time there's some noise in the kitchen. She always thinks we are preparing food for her. I was just making coffee (for myself) and she started whistling. So I started making a series of "bangs" and "clangs" while making a simple coffee. She got so "high" even when I was stirring.

And she is simply so cute. She whistles whenever we go near her, or even when we walk past her. I put her in this big cardboard box when I wake up each day. And she likes to put her front legs on the edge and wait for her food. She does that even when we are not intending to feed her.

The tissue box is now seriously dented, coz she likes to put her front legs on it and start whistling.


She can stand like this for quite long.

I have my reasons for loving her. It's not out of nothing.

Ooh... I started calling her BaiBai now, coz I said HamHam more than twenty times each day for 5 years liao. So it's kinda a habit to say words double times. Or whatever you call that in English lah.

Public Holidays

Last day of work, before the next (public) holiday. Damn busy and tired.

A: Today your last day?
Me: Yup.
A: Then can only see you after very long ar?
J: No lah, you'll see her after a few weeks...
Me: Why leh? Should be a few months mah.
J: You'll come back if we need your help mah.
Me. Oh ya... and public holidays too.

They know I just love public holidays.

S is really a sucker. He sort of flirts with his customers. It may be a type of way to make the customers happy. But I just can't stop feeling disgusted.

I dun give a damn about him, coz he may be gone (as in transfered out) when I go back to work again. So I gave him "face" whenever I 不爽 him. That's my way... of disagreeing him.

Truffles Cake

Worked today. Then Annabel was so good to me. She melted ice-cream cake specially for me. Kidding lahs. The ice-cream cake melted for dunno what sickening reasons. It was still alright when we went to shop. But no longer alright after 1 hour or so. There were truffles on it. The truffles were so damn nice. The chocolate liquid just melts into your mouth when you take a bite. Hmmm... Then the flavour of the melted ice-cream was Chocolate Chocolate Chip. But I think Cookies Chocolate would be better lor. Oops. Asking for too much. Haha.

Then S went to the bank himself, when Annabel offered to show him the way. He said no need, coz he knew where it was. I think should be agar agar de lor. He said he's not bringing his handphone along with him, coz he left it on the bus. And he's not intending to do anything about his lost phone. Anything lah. I'm not his nanny. Oh ya, coming back to the original topic. Annabel and I started joking about him...

A: Hey, S is still not back yet.
Me: Is he lost or something?
A: Yeah, maybe.
Me: Maybe he purposely lose his phone, so that we can't find him to ask "Are you lost?"
A: Maybe he's asking people for the way now...
Me: Haha. Who ask him to act clever... He say he'll walk 50m radius around the shop to familiarise the place. Bullshit lah.

Then it was just normal work until around 5p.m. plus... when 2 gays came to have ice-cream. Seriously no offends. I didn't think too much, until L told me she sensed something. Then I went to take order shortly. And I tell you, I sensed passion in their eyes (when they are looking at each other). I dunno whether it's 心理作用 or what lahs. But we were so damn excited lah. Haha. Almost all of us went to have occasional peeks. Ooops. Didn't mean anything okies.

I'm so pleased with myself. When I was about to bathe just now, I saw a beetle at the top of the door step. I then took a newspaper and folded it. Then I smacked the newspaper on the beetle. Lo and behold, the beetle was gone from it's original place. But the thing was I couldn't find the corpse. I searched for a while and finally saw it. It was in the toilet bowl. Hahaha. I'm so damn accurate can? Even my mum says I am... =)

Damn Her.

I'd rather dun work (on that day) than to work with A. She is real damn sickening can. I just can't stand her. Luckily I'm taking study leave soon. Plus I won't see her this week anymore.

She is so inflexible lors. We were doing a creation at that time. I put whipped cream at the side of the waffle basket (instead of at the top of the ice-cream), so that when you stick the apple slices in the whipped cream, it won't fall (coz it's not like sticking in mid air). But she was so damn gey kiang. She went to put the apple slices on the side where there was no ice-cream for the apple to lean on. So the apple slices were still sticking in mid air. And she still asked why I put the whipped cream there. If I had know that you were so stupid, I won't put the whipped cream there. I'll squeeze the whipped cream in your empty brain, to fill up the emptiness.

I know it's pretty hard to visualize my previous paragraph. I think only A herself will know what I'm saying about, coz it was just a mere description of her illogicalness. Whatever! Just let me vent out my anger can?

I go all silence whenever the person I dun like is around me. But please dun 对号入座, my friends, coz there are always other factors as to why I'm quiet.

A: I also dunno leh. Eh Jean, why you so quiet?
Me: [Didn't bother. Coz she's NOT my friend.]

Work is FUN.

When is that sickening school timetable gonna come out? Are their efficiency level really that low?! Oops.

I can't even decide if I'm working when school reopens or not... But I really feel like working, although it's quite impossible. If I can work more, I think I'll do kitchen le! And there's like 2 public holidays in Nov and Dec. Got double pay, just like next Saturday. Wahahahahahahaha.

I wanna work. There are so many memories. And so much fun. Am I gonna stay in HD forever?

Octopus and Jellyfish

It's been some time since I've worked on Friday night. I forgot all those closing stuffs lah, not even what time we closed. Then I went to buy snacks at 7 plus, coz I didn't have my dinner. Then the rest wanted to eat sushi. I dun normally eat Japanese food, not to say octopus and jellyfish. But what they wanted is octopus and jellyfish. -.-"

Chris had to write down what type of sushi they wanted. Then I stared at the paper and asked him to explain what he wrote. He told me that the octopus is red in colour. I told him to write that down too.

C: What?! You need me to draw 0ut mah?
Me: You draw also no use lor. They got cut de mah.
C: [Started drawing octopus and jellyfish.]
Me: Ooi, please lor. Your drawings are those in kinder garden one lor. Those "O for Octopus" and "J for Jellyfish" that kind of cartoons lah.

Then we figured out the best and fastest way is that Chris go buy the sushi himself. I went with him also and lo and behold. He was right.

His drawings were exactly the same as the one shown in the price tags.

Lucky for him to draw it right. Should have asked him to draw crab or prawn...

Stay Awake Chalet

Had our BJ class chalet on Tuesday. I sort of regretted staying overnight. I can't believe I actually agreed to stay before asking how many rooms there were. I remembered not staying overnight at 1 previous chalet coz there was only 1 room. Same chalet venue lah. Ya, but that's not the point anymore, since I've already stayed.

Went to the beach for a walk and saw ShuXin and Ray roller-blading. I think we were as stressed as them too, coz we have to lookout for them. Plus we walked on grass a lot of times.

I said "Oh my god!" dunno for how many sickening times lor. Ya, I was lying on the bed but I just couldn't get to sleep. Maybe I didn't tell 周公 that I want to see him that night too. Haha. Then Cordelia, Vanessa and me left the room for those who needed the bed more. Only Cordelia and I stayed up the whole night lor. Where was Vanessa huh? Haha.

I can't believe I actually crapped so much at midnight lah. And JunHong was like so entertained by Vanessa and me when we were playing poker cards. Vanessa introduced the game but had no name for it. So I came up with one - "I have a lot of cards" game. There were so many cards lah. And I always couldn't win, coz I always had to scan through all the cards before smacking the cards down. Then I came up with the last resort. I spread out all the cards on the floor and some people were like so entertained lah. He's like ever ready to 酸 me lor.

Cordelia and I was so damn bored that we sort out those poker cards in order. And we sorted it like for... 2 times.


And there was this LKK show from Channel 8. Seriously lah, they should have more sincerity... to provide (good) service for those who can't get to sleep in the wee hours. By the way, the name of the show is 桃花扇传奇. Never heard before bah?

Then we took the earliest shuttle bus. This is the first time that I slept so much on MRT lah.

Free Mooncakes!

Work today was fun... and slack. It's been some time since I've worked on Tuesdays. And it's been 1 whole week since I've last worked. I'm so happy that there weren't many customers at all. No full house leh. Anyway, Cordelia came to find me and saw me stoning (again). Haha.

It's like so suay can? Whenever J and I work opening, R will sure come. Dunno for what also. And that sickening fridges are forever leaking. The most common phrase we hear at work everday is "lao zup". And the sucker in our shop is K, coz he likes to wipe suck the water from the floor.

There's this group of secondary school students who were so bo liao, that they stapled our coasters together - to form this uncompleted ball (coz they had not enough coasters).

For what?! I mean, you must have wasted many staple pins. And it still landed in the rubbish bin anyway...

Then there was the filming of 赢了Law just outside shop. When I first saw the setting, I thought it was some 擂台 thinggy. Then I saw a lot of Mediacorp artistes walking past the shop. Hmmm... I saw 郭亮, 王禄江, 权怡凤, 曹国辉 and 李腾. 郭亮 and 权怡凤 even came in to the shop to buy 3 take-away iced coffees. I even collected money from 郭亮 lah. But why is it not someone more handsome? Oops.

S wanted to give us a treat on Sunday...

S: You working on Sunday?
Me: Nope. Why?
S: I'm going to treat you guys to Canadian Pizza. 1 for 1.
Me: Ooh, but I dun eat pizzas.
S: Why not treat minced pork noodle. It's very nice leh.
Me: Erm, I dun eat pork also...

The most important thing of the day is here. Every staff can take home 8 ice-cream mooncakes! I think that HD is so generous this time round lor. I took 3 tiramisu, 3 chocolate and 2 vanilla. There were actually Rum Raisin, Strawberry and Macadamia Nut. But I dun like it. It's like I spent a lot of time to find the correct flavours, coz they were all in a mess.
