Work

Started work in Lasalle last Wednesday. I've never imagined that I'll be working in a school, especially when I'm still a student now. But yea, there are always possibilities to everything.

I guess this is the only time I'll say I like school, coz I'm going there for work, and not study. I study not because I like to. I just knew I had to.

I love black colour and Lasalle is a black building. Ok shallow, I know.^^

I totally have no complaints to anything about work there. Colleagues are nice, work is very manageable, and I have quite a lot of freedom.

Oh, and the most important thing is there is a coffee machine that serves latte and milo, etc. Hsunpac used to have it, but I didn't utilize it. I totally abused it this time round. I drink more than 4 cups a day.

The only thing that I am so not happy is the computer.

How come use Mac!

I can't say I'm a computer expert, but I'm definitely more than average and I just love to use whatever keyboard shortcuts I can find. Throw away my mouse and I can still navigate around with the keyboard. But omg, I just feel like throwing the mouse and keyboard away. I totally feel like I'm a computer idiot when I use Mac. I've never supported Apple products, especially since its iphone is not fingernail-sensitive. And now, I'll never buy a Mac coz of its operating system. Well, nothing is suitable for everybody...

Throw you all a bonus - I dun know where the 'shut down' icon is and I need my colleague to demo. Laugh all you want. I also feel like laughing now.

WE MUST GO KBOX TOGETHER AGAIN!!!! It was so fun. We spent the first 1.5hrs on all korean songs. We sang till we forgot to choose chinese ones. We continued the craze even towards the end. And you know those korean songs which I sang to! So happy larh.

They have quite a few new koreans songs, but they dun have the right one. After the previous time when they didn't know the gender, now they dun know the number. It was a girl band and they classify under female singers. But then again, just dun play with my F4 and SJ can le.

Dinner was at TCC @ Centrepoint.

Picnic at Botanic Gardens

Had my first (and hopefully the last) picnic on last Monday. It was with The 6-less-1 Ladies at Botanic Gardens.

The preparation was super last minute, but I think everything went on well coz apparently, The Ladies looked like they've got anything and everything in their house. Ya, except for me larh.

Anyway, the temperature was at a high 35°C. These few days were super hot, but still, it didn't reach 35°C. I can't believe we chose that day to picnic. My wrong. We'll go to cooler place next time. If I think it's too hot, I'll disagree for the sake of everyone's skin. I promise. :p

We looked happy, but we were hot.

We sat there for really very long, though it wasn't that long when we looked at our watches. What to do? Hot and unbearable places make you think of home aircon.

I tell you. This has got to be the best place in the whole of Botanic Garden! The waterfall is super powerful. There's wind!


They didn't want to go into the cave initially but I pulled them in. C'mon, the wind is stronger in there. :p

We saw many squirrels around and I managed to capture this cute little one clearly. I think it's around the same size as my XiaoBai. If only you'll follow me back. I'll flag a cab and bring you home.


My concentration level totally plunged to negative when we couldn't find our way out after the picnic. We were at Symphony Lake then, and I found the
saviour - a bench. Good enough to let me seat while I take photos for the rest.

On a random note, I had a look at the map and I saw these words, "Swing me mama", "Girl on a swing" and "Girl on a bicycle". What's that exactly? Sounds a bit scary heh...
